Get That Job Done! was first registered on 1 November 2006. Paul started off working Saturday mornings, mowing lawns and gardening for a handful of local customers who were elderly or disabled and no longer able to keep their gardens under control.
This sparked a real passion for working outdoors, so he enrolled in a TAFE trade certificate in horticulture, left his work in the accounting field to pursue it full time – and the business has been growing ever since.
Get That Job Done! is owned and operated by Paul Ellis. Paul holds a Bachelor of Commerce and worked in accounting for seven years. He has also completed a trade level certificate in Horticulture, including industry certification in small tree felling, pruning of trees and shrubs, and chemical applications.
Paul has a keen interest in water wise gardens using native and semi-arid plants, growing fruit and veggies, and environmentally friendly weed, pest and disease control.

Paul (the Tradie) was excellent, came after he finished his day work, looked at the job, discussed what he could do and gave us a reasonable price. We accepted and he promised as soon as he could – he had recently quoted for other jobs, but he was going to call back. He did, we set a date and time very convenient for both of us. He came and did the job, I was happy with the work, he left everything clean and gave some pointers on how to look after our lemon tree. I would be very happy to recommend Paul. He came and did the watering system for my garden a year ago and did a wonderful job. He was very prompt, reliable, helpful, quick and a really nice person. Pricing was very good. He also came back to teach us how to use it properly and helped out in changing the watering system and making sure it’s running.
